TGI Friday's Copycat Recipe
1 can sliced jalapeno peppers, not pickled
2 cups cracker crumbs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup water
vegetable oil, for frying
Heat oil in fry pan or deep fryer. Drain jalapeno peppers and set aside. Mix cracker crumbs and flour together.
In a separate bowl beat eggs and add water. Dip slices of peppers in egg wash and then the flour & cracker crumb mixture.Dust off excess dry ingredients. Place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown.Remove peppers and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
