Dessert Nachos

Forget brownie sundaes, molten chocolate cakes and designer cupcakes. The dessert world has a new trend: sweets that resemble appetizers. T.G.I. Friday's new dessert nachos are a prime example -- with a treat like this, no one needs to worry about dry cakes and deflating souffles. Here, the sweet ingredients are all piled together, and voilĂ . If nothing else, it's an easy way to get the entire table to join in on the fun (this dessert is definitely meant to be shared).

The Claim: The "sizzling" ice cream nachos consist of wonton crisps piled high with pineapple, mango and strawberries, then topped with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream and a heavy drizzle of caramel sauce.  Below you will find the recipe for the wonton crisps after that just pile on the ice cream and your favorite topping to make this restaurant copycat at home.
